14 points! Third joint last! I love Eurovision, bless Andy – good attempt.

The Eurovision Song Contest rocked! No question. So what, we lost. We knew that would happen, at least we weren’t last on our own. But that’s no excuse for Poland…!

There will be those that say we should pull out of the ESC, rubbish! It’s going to be at least ten years before Eastern Europe feels they are part of the rest of us and we have a real chance at scoring into the top ten. In the mean time it’s still really great fun! I predict 8m+ UK viewing, vs 3m for ITV. Certainly the overnights will make interesting reading. And whilst BBC1 with the ESC can deliver 6m+ its there to stay.

As for Sir Terry, I’m not so sure. Certainly he did a good job tonight. Better, in my oppinion, than recent years, but for my money 2009 should be a double header with Paddy O’C, and he should consider hanging up his microphone after that. He’s a great tallent but its better to go out on a high and he’s certainly on, or past, the crest.

I’ve made a life decision; sometime I absolutely have to go to the ESC!!!
