OfCom’s got digital talent??
27 May, 2008
Hmm… BGT isn’t doing it for me this time. Sorry, but it seems rather too formulaic today. In every respect. Is it me or did Simon say exactly the same things, word for word, each time and the same as yesterday? And OMG, who let Bonnie Langford, Chesney Hawkes and Katie Melua loose on ITV2 afterwards with Stephen??!!
Vocal Malfunctions in question, or more precisely resolution, by our venerable regulator, the Very Revd OfCom (too much?). Apparently BBC1 was wrong in Blackpool and UKTV Gold was naughty at the movies. And at the same time Big Brother is officially not unfair and doesn’t infringe on contestants’ privacy. Absolutely. Clear as Cream of Mushroom. Well, as long as we have a unified and understandable approach across the board… Oh, and apparently YouTube is up for 150,000 Breaches of copyright. Computer says No.
Digital is the word.
First of all they stop makng 7″ vinyl (yes, I’m still bitter), now Woolworths are stopping selling CD singles in favour of downloads. Bring back scratchy black plastic!
I don’t think I’m able to watch BGT tomorrow evening, but I have to admit, I’m not overly bothered. Not sure this plan of striping it is working on me.
